Crawford vs. Canelo Draws ~41.4 Million Viewers on Netflix.

Terence Crawford’s unanimous decision win over Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez at Allegiant Stadium in Nevada on Sept. 13, 2025, pulled in massive global viewership for Netflix. According to VideoAmp and Netflix, the bout drew an average minute audience (AMA) of 36.6 million Live+Same Day viewers, which rose to 41.4 million in Live+1.

The U.S. audience alone accounted for 20.3 million Live+Same Day viewers. The fight peaked at 24 million concurrent streams and reached #1 on Netflix in 30 countries, including the U.S., Mexico, the U.K., Australia, and Canada.

For comparison:

  • Netflix’s first live boxing event, Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson in Nov. 2024, reached an AMA of 108 million and peaked at 65 million concurrent streams.
  • The Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano III matchup in July 2025 recorded an AMA of 6 million.

In-Person Attendance & Revenue
The sold-out event hosted 70,482 spectators and generated a $47 million gate, according to Netflix.
